Hi, my name is Hannah. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and have been passionate about creating music since early childhood. I found my confidence in singing, songwriting and learning new instruments. As my love for singing grew, my shy and timid nature faded away. I felt my true self start to shine through. Over the years, I taught myself guitar and piano, played countless solo gigs around the Bay Area, and eventually started a band in 2010. 

 

After many years of formally teaching voice, piano, guitar, ukulele and assisting bands in recitals at a local community center, I have ventured on my own to create a culture of music lovers who want to let their light shine.

 

With over 9 years of music teaching experience, my goal is to always support students in honing their musicianship. Whether they are working on style, songwriting, technique or performance, I am always focused on helping to highlight your strengths. If music is the medium in which you feel your most authentic self, we are speaking the same language!

 Mac Music represents the self-expression and joy that I have found in music and song writing. I am honored to be able to share my passion and love of teaching with you all. And remember, it is NEVER too late to learn an instrument.
